About Us
The PHSS Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation established to provide ongoing, donor-directed, financial support to PHSS Support Services and organizations that provide supports to people with disabilities.
PHSS Support Services is a community-based organization whose purpose is to provide support to people with developmental, medical, and/or complex physical needs. The assistance offered is dependent on the needs and wishes of those individuals requesting support service.
Vision: To raise public awareness in the community of individuals with complex medical, physical and/or developmental needs.
Mission: PHSS Foundation assists in, and promotes, the building of healthy, caring, sustainable communities for individuals with medical, physical and/or developmental needs through public engagement and philanthropy.
Our Values
PHSS Foundation is committed to reflecting the following values in its organization and fundraising activities as well as in its funding decisions.
1. Respect the rights of individuals with complex medical, physical and/or developmental needs to live with dignity in an enriching environment, be a participating member of a community, make their own decisions and receive individualized supportive care that reflects their individual care requirements.
2. Engage family, friends, donors and others in building healthy, caring, sustainable communities that are inclusive of individuals with complex medical, physical and/or developmental needs.
3. Promote public understanding of the needs of individuals with complex medical, physical and/or developmental needs to live a healthy, dignified and fulfilling life within the community.
4. Transparency in raising and using charitable funds to support individuals with complex medical, physical and/or developmental needs.
Where Your Support Goes
Support for PHSS can take many forms - from one-time or monthly donations to event sponsorships, planned giving, or legacy gifts. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference and can be directed toward specific areas of impact at your discretion, including transportation, housing and accessibility, or essential equipment needs.
